What Can You Expect?
.At Gather: A Creative Salon, after our featured artist ignites the morning with their unique spark of creativity, the space opens into The Circle of Expression — a safe, sacred and joyful arena where every voice has the opportunity to be heard. (It is important to let Bethany know upon arrival if you would like space on stage — as this event has gotten bigger, there is a limit to time, spots are based on first arrival)

This is where we honor Strawberry Propaganda’s mission to flip societal programming and reconnect with our innate rhythm. Creativity is for everyone, and this circle reflects that belief. Whether you’re sharing a poem, playing a song, telling a story, or offering something entirely unexpected, the floor is yours.

*we do ask that sharing is appropriate for all ages*

How It Works:

The Circle of Expression at Gather: A Creative Salon follows four stages, inspired by the essence of love and creativity. Together, we move through a journey that invites us to consume, embody, spread, and create love — both in the circle and beyond.

  1. Consume Love: As the circle begins, we open ourselves to receive. With the talking stick as our guide, we listen deeply to each performer, absorbing their unique energy, stories, and truths. Each share is a gift— a reminder of the boundlessss forms love and creativity can take. As witnesses, we allow ourselves to fully consume love by being present, attentive, and open.

  2. Become Love: In this space, love transforms us. Whether sharing or listening, we embody love through presence, connection, and authenticity. As the talking stick is passes, we use one another’s names, meet each other’s eyes, and introduce the next person taking up space. Each performance is a reminder that love begins with honoringg and expressing ourselves as we are.

  3. Spread Love: As the circle flows without pause, we honor each other’s needs and rhythms. Move as you need - eat, lay down, explore, sit quietly or simply rest. This space is yours to inhabit uniquely. Each performer chooses if they wish to be witnessed silently or would like feedback. Sharing our thoughts, feelings or reflections becomes an act of spreading love, creating deeper connections that can carry beyond this moment.

  4. Create Love: With every word, note, or movement, we co-create something larger than ourselves. Each share adds a thread to this living tapestry of creeativity, a reminder that love and art ripple outward. The energy we cultivate here is meant to be carried out into the world —into our relationshiips, communities, and creative pursuits. Use this moment to spark conversations, build connections and plant seeds that will continue to grow after we part ways

This circle is a practice in giving and receiving love, a reflection of the harmonious, abundant world we are working to create. Whether you’re sharing or simply holding space locally or from the greater web, your presence matters. Let’s carry this energy beyond breakfast, living in love.
